I visited an antique mall outside of Omaha and found a Kellogg 925, non-dial, ringer removed, chipped bottom, bottom rim gouged out to make room for a line cord but no cords. Handset looks OK.  I found it last March but she wouldn't take anything less than $120.  I visited again this summer, July.  It was still there and she was still asking $120, I offered $60 and she countered with $90, firm.  I walked away again.  If it was complete (ringer included), or even cosmetically nice, $90 would be fair, I think, but with replacement parts, $60 seems more fair.  Am I being cheap?

I would agree with you. In the condition you described maybe that is even a little high!

Stick to your guns.  $90 is too much for one that seems to have all the problems you mentioned.

Hold off, you should be able to get one in better condition for what she wants.
I paid $45.00 a couple years ago, for one in very good condition.
I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but the asjtray part of teh phone I believe is to lay down the handset for a hold.
