I keep finding interesting stuff at this antique mall that I frequent.  Last week it was the 20AL desk stand with the early and unusual number card...now today I picked up two items.

One is a Sumter transmitter, faceplate and mouthpiece.  It is marked "Manufactured by The Sumter Telephone Mfg Co Sumter SC".  The mouthpiece is very heavy with some small chips and a couple of small cracks but nothing completely thru it and no chunks missing.  I paid $12 for it.

The other is a non-Bell Western Electric 5410 that started life as a WE 410 in 1951 and was then coverted into a 5410, including the new model stamped on the bottom.  At one point it was then converted to a single line phone and the switch hole plugged. It has a GF/G1 handset.  I paid $18 for this one.

I'd add photos but no matter what I try, the forum says my images have failed security checks and cannot be uploaded.
