I just sent in a request to join the forum under the username Nothing. I am interested in phones and switching systems but I am more interested in the locks that keep them safe. I am the first person in history and currently the only person in the world to have verifiably picked open the Western Electric 30C. I have done a talk at Defcon describing what drove me to accomplish this task and how I was able to do it. Since then I have become incredibly interested in the history of these locks and I am putting together another talk about the history of payphone locks leading up to and surpassing the 30C and I think there is a wealth of knowledge of this forum that may be able to help me answer some of the questions I have and I may be able to contribute my own knowledge as well.
