Thought I would share this image of a telegraph pole in flames (taken from a UK news article a few years back).
Firefighters were called out to this telegraph pole which had inexplicably caught fire.

'Ivy covering the telegraph pole is believed to have exacerbated the fire and caused smoke to billow over the rooftops.

Firefighters put out the flames and left BT to repair the phone lines.

It is not yet clear what started the fire, leaving firemen and residents in the seaside town baffled'.

Now that is a little inconvenient huh?

That looks to have been intentionally set.
The ivy certainly was a catalysts for the well burning fire. It just amazes me what people do to create trouble.
