NE 2500D

Would a helpful member who has a NE 2500D please pop on this thread a photo of their phone from top showing writing under cradle, under handset, and mousehole (I have looked, can't find similar here).

Am not au fait with these so need a comparison.

Looks to me like you have a backwards logo. I'll check more of my phones to see if any of the 500's and 2500's has a backwards logo.
I do have one with the backward logo, it's on my Orange Contempra that came from a closed Museum.

I wondered if it might be backwards but I can't find much info on these, and most photos are W.E.

I may have discovered an oddity. 

I do have one with the backward logo, it's on my Orange Contempra...

I remember your backwards logo thread, since reading that I always look for it on Contempra handsets just in case.

A nice phone in itself, the reversed logo is a bonus. 
I'll take some more photos and add, all those I took this morning were too dark.

@FABphones - your logo is 'Northern Electric' rather than 'Northern Telecom' - not sure if that makes a difference.

Northern Electric and Northern Telecom were the same company, just a name change. In the end they were known as Nortel Networks.

No, they are all meant to face the back of the telephone. That way the logo could be read from behind. Western and ITT did the same thing.
