I got a SC Frequency subset with a phone I purchased. It rings low. Is there any value to collectors?

Sure, the frequency ringer can be swapped for a straight-line ringer.  For most lines, a 20 cycle ringer will also work well.

I discovered that if you pair up 2 0.47uf caps, it will increase the ringing capabilities....
