I'm not sure what the "DH" is for, but it's missing an induction coil, which marks it as an extension ringer, rather than a subset.

Could this be used with a dial-less 202 without damaging the E1?

Not this particular model, no.  The thing that prevents damage to an E1's receiver is the induction coil, and this model has no induction coil--it's nothing more than a ringer.  Using this one would be no different from connecting the 202 directly to the wall.  Now, you may be able to stuff a 101A induction coil in there somewhere if you have a spare one.  That would fix the problem.

I was thinking of going that but then I realized I could just hook up the 532 base I was going to use instead and keep (what's left of) this all original.  I will save this for a deskset with an F1.
