I am restoring another Western Electric 1324. This has fewer buttons than the last one. This one has some issues. The necessary parts I have or they are readily available, except the missing buttons.

Chuck, I don't know if I have any spare Western buttons but I know that I have some spare Stromberg buttons. Hopefully they are the same. I will take a look at what I have.

Wallphone - Thank you. If not, I have a design in mind for making them.

Here is the restored WECo 1324. At first I was going to refinish the face plate and the case. Because it did not have any major chips, I decided to accept the resultant final product with blemishes and kept the original finish. I sanded it lightly with 2400 and 3200 grit micro-mesh followed with 3M heavy-duty liquid rubbing compound.

I really, really like the job you did.  I think I will add that set to my "Gotta Have" list.

There is one of these on a house down the block.  It has no receiver or mouthpeice and is covered with about 10 layers of paint.  I'll see what I can do.
