On my way back to Seattle after visiting relatives in Vancouver, WA, I took a short detour and stopped in Rainier, OR and checked out a second hand store there.  I asked the proprietor if he had any rotary phones.  He said he gets them from time to time, puts them in a box marked $5 and somebody local comes in and buys them all up to rebuild and resell them.  Just wondered if it was somebody here.
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.

Nah, it's a 2 1/2 hr drive from here.  Only get down that way couple times a year.  But I'll be sure to make a pit stop there on my way to visit Ma from now on.
