Jan found this at The Flea Market this morning,  wires were off. I do not have one like this. What is wired wrong? Something should be on K. right?...many thanks....Doug

Looks like the ringing bridge uses B (BK) instead of K.

This is standard:

L1--------(red)--------RINGER--------(black)--------/K/---------(slate)---------||--------(yellow)--------Y/L2
                                                                                                             1 µF

Here is a wiring label for this box.

The newer capacitor (skinny wires) is correctly connected (red) to C and (black) to BK.

The fat black wire on BK is incorrect, as is the wire on GN.

If you already have one of the older capacitor wires on L2-Y, then the other old capacitor wire goes to K.

Connect ringer (red) to L1 and (black) to K.

David....old cap   red to green yellow to L2
              new cap red to c black to bl on old block
              ringer R to L1 .......black to?? doesn't work on K shorts on L2 with 1/2 ring

Is it just dead.....thanks....Doug

old cap connects yellow to L2, slate (red??-- in any case, the other wire) to K (not to GN)

On the block, picture showed black ringer wire on the same B/BL/BK (stamped in red) as the new cap black wire. Rather, the only wires on this terminal would be the new black cap wire and the black wire in the 4-conductor cord going to the 202 or 151AL. The black ringer wire should be on K -- along with the old capacitor wire.

Would it help to attach the ringer bias spring to the screw on the frame below the right gong?
