Wall-mounted walnut Model 293 from the early 1900s. Of course, technically not a rotary phone... but gorgeous!

Northern made their N293 wall sets with walnut.     The Uniphone manual set shown in your second post, went into general production in September 1935, and the subscriber set you have pictured with it, a Northern N1717 in hard maple, was first introduced in the early 1950's, and was initially made from walnut, but production switched to using hard maple shortly thereafter.
