Confusing weather.....

Now, I know I have an issue with sleeping and missing a few days here and there, but today, I got up and looked outside, and it's freezing cold outside!!!

I don't know the temperature as we haven't got a thermometer out there, but, it's definitely below 0 celsius in order to freeze, but what gets me is it's August, even if it's only got a day left, it's meant to be late summer still...

Still, at least winter will be interesting...

The north of England, where the weather makes no sense....

The really weird thing is, the highest temperature in this region will be about 21 degrees today, after sub-zero (even if it's only a degree or two) temperatures...

I took these pictures at about 5:30am (UK time) this morning, first one is our kitchen roof, the other the neighbour's roof, both distinctly frosty...
