My new NEC Telephone

I bought this nice telephone off Ebay. Was built in Japan be NEC. It is a two-tone gray color. I believe this phone was built in 1969. It has an interesting "tinkly" ring, like a really old subset has.

I believe that these were fairly cheaply made, but this one looks really nice.  I see beige ones on ebay occasionally, but seldom this color.

It is much heavier than the Toshiba ones.

the type 600 is also available in different colors. I have several in my collection which includes light blue, two tone grey (same on the photo above), light brown, salmon red, black, beige and two tone green
