New forum members are very welcome and encouraged to take a guess. After all, there are no wrong guesses, just one lucky one. No one knows the winning bid on any auction until it ends. However, it is important to get your guess in before someone else grabs your guess.

Listed about 20 hours ago in a 7 day auction with no reserve starting at $48.00 is what appears to be a "blue"  WE 302 with cloth cords and a soft center finger wheel. The seller provided limited and very poor external photos. Within the 3 hours of being listed, the phone attracted 3 buyers upping the starting the price to a still low $102.50. So, what is it under that horrific flash bloom? Three bidders seem to think it's worth more than $100 but how much more is the question. Once again who best knows what this item will sell for when the auction ends? And the other question is, does the handset come with the bug?

NOTE:We will use a $5 gap rule between guesses to prevent crowding. As such, keep your guess at least $5 away from prior guesses for this contest.

The seller listed it as an "vintage 1950's Bell systems phone" with the item condition as "Used" and "up for sale is a vintage 1950's Blue Bell systems desk phone. phone has scratches and scuffs from use. Saling AS IS unable to test to insure the phone works" and with the auction listing description saying simply "Vintage 1950'S Bell System Blue rotary phone. Phone has scratches and scuffs from being used in the past. I am Saling AS IS unable to test to insure the phone works.any questions please feel free to contact me. "

The seller posted better pictures, taken without a flash. The new images are posted in the first topic along with one set of the old photos, showing the clear plungers, cord and 4 prong plug.

Yes, it seems to be Mediterranean Blue with apparently no corner cracks.
