rob -  lovely restoration on that handset. several hours polishing, and sore fingers at the end type of thing ? looks new now.

Yeah, lots of time on the handset, David, especially the rusted transmitter cartridge. The handset was terribly pitted. I think someone was crazy for the disinfectant on that. Alcohol and bakelite do not get along.

Today I modified the 50 Hz party-line ringer to ring properly on 20 Hz. My lower back is out (again), so not much else done.  :(
