Dear unbeldi:

I need to see the actual connections inside the handset itself, the base ones for the handset I know already.

Well, I indicated which wires go to the receiver and transmitter, and the common.

Dear Unbeldi:

While that is true, I need to know where they actually go INSIDE the handset as I'm not familiar with the wiring inside the handset.

I don't have pictures of internal handset connections, but how difficult can it be to identify them?  One of the screws goes to both, the receiver and the transmitter, and the other two go to their respective elements.  Also the schematic that is usually found inside the sets, shows the connections very clearly in a close-to-reality drawing.

The PTT 51 is usually found with one of two different handsets, the older one from the 1940s which was not used very long anymore in the 1950s, and a newer type. There are pictures of both of them on the forum somewhere.
