Title: Breaking into a Nortel Millenium upper housing, Any Tips guys?
Post by: Hill Haven Telephone Company on April 03, 2020, 11:53:42 AM
I got a  Millenium today, eBay seller said the keys were included to the upper housing, however they were mistaken. They included keys to the coin vault.

And it was poorly packed, just shoved in a box with no bubblewrap, you can hear stuff rattling around inside the phone now.

Any tips on getting the upper housing open?

Ended up getting it open.

I tried a masonry bit,  didnt even scratch the lock,    Ended up getting my sharp punch set out and a 5lb sledge,   Destroyed the innards of the lock,  But got it open.    I got another lock to put in it anyways.

Sometimes persuasion and brute force is all ya need to open it.  Took about 20 minutes.
