I was in the process of setting up a second eBay account when I saw this at $22 BIN. So, the first purchase for 'danceswithphones' is this clear square-button Trimline. I assume the color code is -29 (transparent).

Anyone collect these?

Very nice Zaphod, is it a touch-tone or with a dial ? ;)

Touch tone. Can't wait to get it here and see the bottom.

It's missing the transparent wall cord. It would look like this...

Anyone have one for a Trimline?

With divestiture of AT&T (1-1-84), the RBOCs (Bell Operating Companies) were not allowed to manufacture telephones, since AT&T kept WE and Bell Labs.

So most phones labeled "Bell Atlantic," "NW Bell," "PacTel," "BellSouth Products," "SW Bell Freedom Phone," or--my favorite--"Genuine Bell" are in fact not "genuine Bell" but rather imports.

The only exceptions I am aware of are some "NW Bell" sets that are actually Western Electric 2500s and 2554s rebadged with the NW Bell name.
