Thanks guys, but I didn't have chance to have a look why excactly it has seized. I was thinking worst case scenario there.  ;)

I am looking forward to working on it, as it is of a type I do not know yet. And I'm curious to the differences between the dimple dial and the GPO-dial.

Usually dial seizure is a combination of dirt and gummed-up oil/grease, worst case is rusting together if the dial mechanism is made from metal, but for me it's been the dirt + old gooey lube... :)
