Last month I got this Dawn Grey AE 83 Space Maker. It is NOS and was never installed, thus no holes drilled. I did replace the handset cord that was severely cracked and dried out over the decades.

Looking for your suggestions for mounting and display. Since the handset cord exits from the bottom, it needs some sort of stand to display. I can make a wood display.

Russ ,
The wood stand is what I did on the 43's , 83's and 183's if you have room.   stub

If you have the space, maybe a shallow shoe box type of display, maybe with a curved top?
A small box underneath, for it to sit on, and hide the cord.
You could even fit a network, or a small ringer if needed?
