710 Cable Splicing Tool Storage Box

I found this big tool box in my grandparents shed. the tool box is empty. Does anyone one know if its worth anything?

As it is labeled on the box, it contained 710 cable splicing tools. I'm not certain it would be considered to be a collectable but it may have SOME value to the right person but not necessarily for cable splicing.

True but there aren't that many independent active professional cable splicers left and those who still work for the telcos are already supplied with all of their tools and paraphernalia.  And most collectors prefer to keep their items on display instead of inside a box under the bench.
Still it is a nifty box for storing many other items.

Scrappers always like mettal, but I'm sure somebody would want it.

Ok good. You might want to put it on craigslist as it would be hard to ship it on eBay and it would be expensive.
