Title: Recommended Resin?
Post by: WEBellSystemChristian on January 18, 2017, 07:29:12 PM
I received my first-ever AE34 today from a forum member. The housing is nearly perfect, except for a couple big chunks missing from the rear vents! :o

Does anyone have a common tried-and-true resin that they use for repairing Bakelite?

Fiberglass resin with black dye. Available at any fiberglass shop. http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=3690.0

I've tried it. It works exactly like they say in the article.
