Round vs. Flat wire?

Yes, I did notice that but it didn't show up in the photo. The "solid" plug had a longer more pointed prong where the "stranded" pug had a shorter and rounded point. Will try to get a photo of that and post it. Digital cameras focus on the surface so it is hard to get the prongs into focus, but I have an idea of how to do that.

Terry, I agree but I was thinking more along the lines of the more precise "Modular Stereotactic Radiosurgery" using the Gamma Knife unit I have somewhere in my basement . . .  it makes a better cut in plastic than my micro laser slicer.   ;)

Okay, more photos. The side view shows the difference between the "solid" and "modular" wire prongs. This could be due to a difference in manufacturer since I only have one source of each type of modular connector to analyze.

The front view clearly shows the difference between the slightly larger diameter round holes of the "solid" versus the vertical partitions to hold the ends of stripped modular line cord in place.
