1961/62 Northern Electric E1A Ringer

I picked up this 1961/62 Northern Electric Ringer E1A yesterday for $2.00. The guy thought it was a doorbell chime. I was in Whitby (Ontario) with a friend and he took a 15 minute detour to Ajax so I could pick it up, it was worth it. The ringer is dated 1962 and the capacitor is dated 1961. The base looks new, but the cover had been painted from a rose beige to gray.
