I picked up this porcelain strain insulator for $2.00 CDN at a thrift shop today. The 1948 Northern Electric Telephone and Supplies T-7 Catalogue that I have had it listed. Does anyone know what the marking mean on the top? Date code maybe???

I believe the mark on the left is the logo for the Canadian Line Material Co. I don't know what the V on the right represents. The CLM Co. was in business from the 1930's until 1972.
