I found this at an antique store today. B1 handset attached to a wooden generator box. All of the wiring is shot and has been clipped off at the handset. It appears to be complete but rough. I know the B1 is somewhat rarer than the D1 but they want $175 for the package. Transmitter element dated 29. Any thoughts on its value? Thanks experts

I have found the exact same configuration for less than $70 with all cords intact.

I have seen the same. The most I would consider going is $85.

I concur.  The price is much too high.  I bought a B1/E1 with dial blank (no subset) a few months ago at a local mall for $35 or so.

Here is mine that was $61 + sh $14.  I added the number card.

Thank you all so much for the replies. I thought that was a bit high. I found this other phone at a store down the road for the grand price of $6. That one was a no brainer. 😃

I would offer them $60 and tell them to keep the magneto box!
