It just seems so errr handy.  I wonder if this was a common practice when 2-piece phones were the norm?

This one certainly seems to attract company.   I sometimes scold my wife for doing this, but in this case, the blue jacket is.... you guessed it.... mine   :-\

Anyone else do this or are the rest of you more careful.  At least the transmitter and mouthpiece don't collect dust...

Great pic and story, Bill!

      Though I don't have nearly as cool of a wallphone in a place where I would remove my coat, (or in my possession),  I am tickled, (and summat envious!) by your scenario.

      Thanks(!!) for the laughs; they've been a bit difficult to come by, as of late, and are all the more appreciated, Sir!!

That's nothing, I use my late 60's Kirby Dual Sanitronic80 as a towel rack...  ;D
