Sorry, my previous post was a bit acronistic.

BTMC Bell Telephone Manufacturing Company    Https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Bell_Telephone_Company
EB                                      Elektrisk Bureau    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elektrisk_Bureau
ITT         International Telephone & Telegraph    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITT_Inc.#History
STC                Standard Telephones & Cables    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_Telephones_and_Cables

Hope that helps a bit.

Great, the Norwegian STC called Standard Telefon & Kabelfabrikk STK is only documented in the Norwegian Wikipedia (as far as I know):
https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_Telefon_og_Kabelfabrik
When it came to phones they mainly used phones from Antwerp  and when the Norwegian main telco Telegrafverket ordered phones from Elektrisk Bureau, they specified dials from STK

Oh dear - "Ofret av moderselskapet" - I detect a bit of retained anger here.

The German company was "Standard Elektrik Lorenz (SEL), the Italian one "Face Standard"". There were many in many different languages but most included the word "Standard" and they used the WE Hawthorne font.

There were a few that were not "Standard" companies like BTMC itself and the French company LMT (Le Matériel Téléphonique)
