Our next auction is for all the fans of pink telephones. This one is a particularly nice Stromberg-Carlson. I believe it's a 1543, and it looks like it was just taken off Mamie Eisenhower's bedside table.

Pepto-Bismol? Not something you see in the UK so I don't think it's that.
Bubble gum? We have pink bubble gum over here (or we did when I was a kid) but I don't think it's that either that makes me queasy.
I think there is a lurking memory of some kind of medical equipment or appliance that makes me uneasy. Anyway it's an ugly phone and colour to my eyes.
Apologies to fans of the shade of pink and the style of phone.
