May this solve it?

Yes, those are the two sockets..but what are lines? I have to rewire all the colors from 1 to another.. :-\

dsk

The 2 wires connected to the 2 pins marked line is the only 2 you need, it does not matter if you reverse them. The others are there yous to confuse you ;D

Tried that..nothing, only continuous tone..not dialing, not receiving any call.. :P

Hello,

Here is a schematic: http://tinyurl.com/dutch-ericofon

Source: http://telephony.infc.info/

in the schematic the following colors are used for the line cord:
red = a = tip
blue = b = ring
yellow = EB
green = earth

In order to make the buzzer / ringer work you need to make a connection between EB and b.

I did that..I can receive calls, buzzer works, but I can't make any call..

Have you looked at the schematic I provided?

If you are having trouble reading a schematic I can take a picture of the inside of a Dutch Ericofoon so you can see how it is wired.

Yes, I have troubles reading the schematic. I want to use the original cord and only replace the original socket with a modern one (like the pics above)
I'm not that technical, but I can look very good at pictures!  ;D

You can have a look at a few pictures I took at:

http://telephony.inc.info/Erickson/ (in Dutch Erickson is spelled Erickson with a double "Io")

The first picture shows the wires inside the Dutch PTT plug, note the extra blue wire between b and EB inside the plug, this makes the buzzer work. This little wire might also be inside your phone.

Can you see the pulse contact of the dial open and close when you rotate the dial, This should be visible when you open the phone.

If this doesn't help I guess your phone is broken. You could ask Richard Rose (www.Erickson.com) for help or maybe  send it to me by snail mail so I can try to fix it for you.

Yeah, this is correct but this is the original wiring on the original plug...I want to rewire them on a new plug (Belgian)

If your phone is ringing / buzzing and you are able to receive calls than it's wired to your Belgian plug correctly. If you can't dial out the dial must not be performing correctly.

Can you see the pulse contact of the dial open and close when you rotate the dial, This should be visible when you open the phone.
