What Do I have Here??

I purchased this and another handset on eBay a few weeks ago. Turned out the seller was Chuck Eby, great guy and the ATCA List moderator. He had no idea what the handset was used with. It has WE receiver and transmitter, look like it might have been push to talk or listen. Deep maroon color like the WE "brown" bakelite handsets. This is bakelite as I used fine steel wool on it. Any ideas?...Doug
