Another term that supposedly makes an item valuable. "hard to find". On the flip side, I give this seller credit for admitting it's a repop and giving a thorough description. Over the years, I've seen this get passed off as original. Whether knowingly or otherwise. Guess I can't blame him for trying to recoup lost money, while being honest.

Like that shiny 5302, shiny is good.  Still think he ought to know better than to call it the dreaded Art Deco tag, but shiny is good and it should sell for a handsome sum.  Maybe if I get the Pledge out for my beige 2500, call it "Neo-Art Deco".....

I feel for the guy who bought the repro base phone, but I don't see him getting what he's asking.  It's not terribly bad looking, but it's just not the sort of thing that will bring in the big bucks.  If he's asking $184 for it, I can't imagine what it must have cost him.
