Hi All:

Does anyone have a spare 787A Coin Cleanout Tool? There is one on eBay right now, but priced a bit high for me - I would like to add one to the collection. They are made to release stuck coins in the chute of a single slot payphone.

I would also like to find a 139B coin leveling tool to level coins in an overfilled coin-box to allow removal.

Also some day, a P11C cord which extends the cords on a single slot phone so that it way be worked on with the cover off to the side. It is made with a male and female octal plug and multi-conductor cable joining the two plugs.

I know you value authenticity in your museum. But if you are looking for a workhorse PC11 adapter for bench work (rather than display), it would be cheap and easy to make one. It appears to be a simple octal tube base and socket, about $3 for each one. Available at mosdt electronic suppy places, including

Hi Bill:

Yes, I had thought about that. Actually, I have at least the one end for one in my workshop, but you guessed it - I'd rather have an original, as it is for the museum. The same could be said about the coin leveler - it could be made out of a coat hanger (all except for the coil level slide on it) and it would be perfectly functional. So, I am hoping I will find an original of each for the museum tool collection Thanks, anyway for your suggestion.

Glad you found them!  I actually just acquired one of each of those tools less than a week ago.  The 787A is very interesting, in my opinion.  I told the guy I got it from I'm going to have to stuff up the validator in one of my phones just to see if that tool works!

Actually, I have known they were coming for a couple of months from the guy who sold me my 1D2, but he had no idea where they were. Finally, a week ago, he emailed me to say they were on the way. The 787A is brand new, in the Pausin Mfg. Co. sleeve.

So, I am glad to finally have them here!
