Hello Everybody!

Let me take this opportunity to thank you all for the free flow of information here. I have repaired or rewired a few WE phones and or subsets for myself and others in the recent past and all with information or knowledge gained from this site. Thanks again!

I have started a small collection here at home, 4 WE's and 2 AE's. One of the AE's. you guys will be hearing about soon, hopefully you guys will be able to help me get that one in working order too.

Professionally, I am a cable maint. Splicer for AT&T, after 10 years as an OSP contractor I hired with Pacific bell as a construction splicer, been a lineman for several years then finally moved to the maintenance side of the house about 3 years ago.
I can build or maintain it from the office to the house all day long, but when it gets the end equipment, I am pretty green!

Looking forward to learning more from you all!
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy.
I take it, you were not in the line of "FIRE"...?
So sad to hear of so many losing their homes. :-[
Be careful with your collection...
If you put two of them too close together, you will soon have a third. ;D
That's how it is with phone collecting...and rabbits...lol.

Thanks Guys,
No, pretty far away from all the fires.
My first supervisor at Pac Bell was called RB. Any chance you are him?
Andy

Do you owe him money?
I can be anybody, if there is money in it lol.
No, I am just another guy who loves old phones.

Welcome Andy, look forward to reading about you and your adventures. I'm not an AE guy, but there are plenty here.
This is going to be hard not to keep getting more phone's.
But part of the fun is the hunt!
