Here is the "finished" product. I am going to clean up a couple spots on it and hit it with some renaissance wax. I still have a tiny bit of work to do along the detail line on the base. All of that can be done assembled. Nice bonus, the phone works really well. Thanks Doug for the inspiration to do this and Teleplay John for all the technical tips and secrets.

Wow, awesome finish on that metal.  The thing about these 302s is that they do look "right" in polished bare metal, even though we know WE never made them like that.  I think it must be the prevalence of bright metal in Art Deco designs that causes this combination to hit the mark.  Great job!
