Title: I am proud!
Post by: Devansphones on June 11, 2012, 11:18:19 PM
I am very proud of this company on eBay, they are making reproduction candlestick phones with working dials... not those stupid crosley repros with push buttons... Why am I so proud you ask? Because this company is bringing the rotary dial telephone back to the people! As time passes, phones become harder to find and you don't see many in people's homes as an actual working phone as opposed to a "decoration" I am happy!  :)

These made in India and are rough copies of British GPO sets. The dials are Vintage ITI copies of the British version of the type 24 dial .Dials were removed from bakelite 332? sets.

Much nicer than those counterfeit North Korean dial candlestick phones.

The Indians seem to do quite a lot of brass work, some of it can be very good quality.

Indeed! I often see inexpensive brass homewares at TJMaxx, Homegoods and Marshall's.
