Dear Forum:

Hello, I'm looking for clarification on a date code on a WE phone carrying "79036" as the date code.

I'm guessing that it's meaning the 36th week of 1979, which should be Feb. 5th, 1979; Am I reading that correctly?

I'm using a link to the converter on epochconverter. com to do the conversion of the date.

If a forum member familiar with my earlier inquiry can please, check and clarify my date code conversion, I would be appreciative, and thank them for the help.

You're close.  It's actually the 36th day of 1979.... :)

Dear RotarDad:

Hello, & Thanks. I've caught onto that; Jsowers pointed that out to me also.

I get a touch mixed up when I'm referring to an older post on the topic I'm asking about.

Fortunately, I kept the original link he sent me, and I'm working on putting a hard copy of it where I can refer to it in my manuals that cover WE equipment.

if I can recall how to do it, I'm going to bookmark that so I can get it either on or offline.

The epochconverter. com site is the best tool for doing that in my opinion. Too bad it's not a downloadable one, but it is helpful.
