Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone happens to know some info on this. I don't know if it's a 102 or 202 and guess I'd have to open it up to tell. I'm curious as to an approximate age (I know 1930s) and if anyone knows anything about the company this was seemingly used for.

Yes, you will need to open it to determine how it is configured. You will also find a date inside.

Isn't the difference between 102 & 202 in the subset (side tone 102 vs anti side tone 202) and the desk set having the extra set of leaf contacts in the hook switch to support the extra circuit in an anti side tone subset, and a 4 conductor mounting cord needed for a 202?

A D1 can be a 102 or 202 depending on the subset, right?

Technically, you are correct about 102 and 202 meaning Sidetone subsets  and Anti-Sidetone subsets, but no, there is no extra spring leaf.  That is with Desk Stands -.  Most people call the round base model the 102 and the oval base unit a 202, as usually, that was true.  Anti-Sidetone circuitry was released to subscribers in 1930 or 31, but the oval-base D1 was introduced in 29 , so most D1s are 202, and B1s, when introduced, were automatically 102.

What are you using to date these events?

Thanks
