INVITATION TO THE CONFERENCE CALL
HONORING D/P'S D-177001 125 SET

Date: Sunday, April 25, 2010
Time: 5 PM PDT  (8 PM EDT)

Touch Tone is required to access the service, but vintage rotary phones are encouraged for the discussion.

All makes and models are welcome -- not just WE 500s!  Strange or unique is good.

Call:  712-432-3900    (NOTE: Long Distance charges may apply.  Check your plan.)

Enter code:  102060#

After a brief message you will be connected with the call.

There is no fixed agenda.

  • After we all gather, Dan will make a few historic comments and demonstrate the audio qualities of his set.
  • Then each of us will get a chance to make a brief comment.

We're welcome to stay on the line as long as we please to discuss anything and get to know each other.

During the call, anyone or everyone can talk.  If everyone talks at once, no one will be able to understand anything.  Please be considerate.

Occasionally with a lot of participants line noise can build up.  If that happens, we can mute lines to provide better audio quality.

You can control your individual line from your touch tone phone as follows:

*6 - Mute your line (You can hear, but not talk to the group.)
*7 - Un-mute your line (You can hear and talk.)

If the host mutes the entire conference, you can press *7 to talk.

Before the conference starts, please post a photo of the phone you'll be using on this topic:

The conference will be recorded, so anyone who misses it will be able to hear it later.  Playback instructions will be posted after the file is available.

(Don't say anything you don't want to be reminded of for the next few years!)

Enjoy!

what time will it be here

From viewing your profile info, you are two hours ahead of Pacific Time, so it will be 7pm your time.

Well hell's bells, why not, this'll be interesting.  I'll have to go find a touch tone to use to get on, but after that I'm switching to a REAL phone!

greg, kenny may not have set his profile time to reflect his time zone. depending on where he lives in TN he could be eastern or central. kenny if you are eastern will be 8pm....central...7pm

I'm a bit confused about the mentioned times.

Aren't you on daylight saving time?

Shouldn't the times be stated in PDT and EDT? Or am I missing something?

Remco,
It Should be listed as daylightsavings time. I would say the above times are daylight savings time.
Arizona and a few other places don't use Daylight savings time.

It is now DST correct. I think my original P.M. to Paul said PST that would be my error.
It would be, 5:00 P.M. PDT, Sunday April, 25, 2010.

Parsons, TN is in the Central time zone:

Do we have to call in at exactly that time, or can we be "fashionably late"?  IOW, if we forget or are running late, can we butt in shortly after 5pm?

I plan to log on at about 1-2 minutes after 5:00 P.M., that will give others time to log on. After I log on I will ask for a moment to switch from the push button to the D177001-125 ( There Paul, I said It ).
Then I will make a short statement.
