And the winner of Auction Contest #220 is Dennis Markham who with the 9th entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $248.00 to give him his 10th auction contest win! So, a big congratulations go out to Dennis Markham for another win in the CRPF Auction Contests and for moving up one rung in the Contest Standings.

Well, it seems h***m ( 1375 )'s first and only bid of the auction, a last second snipe placed 5 seconds before the auction ended, beat out two other snipes placed 3 and 4 seconds before it ended to take the phone home for a lower than expected $240.49, expected when reviewing forum member guesses. The phone was listed at $9.99 and unlike most eBay auctions, saw the price rise slowly but steadily every day of the auction. Within the last 15  minutes, it more than doubled in price. I hope the seller was sitting down. The auction saw 8 bidders placing 16 bids.

Check out the updated Contest Standings to see who's who through 220 contests and the latest additions to the CRPF Hall of Fame

Thanks again to all who played. As always, there is only one way to get on the winner's board or move up a rung - you have to play to win.

I'll be this would have gone for a whole lot more if the case wasn't cracked.
