Picked this up from Ebay, and I'm not sure of the manufacturer.  Does anyone have any ideas?  The transmitter looks a lot like a Blake, but I'm sure it's not.  The front lid has threads in it for the mouthpiece to thread into.  Looks completely original.  A bonus would be a wiring diagram!  The wood box is in amazing condition.  Of course the yellow and green wires will be replaced immediately.

I believe this is a Manhattan circa 1898.

Thanks, that's it.  I matched it up to some ads from that time period.  Would like to get some more info on the transmitter.

I got a response from a TCI member and he identified it as a Viaduct.  I wonder, are Manhattan and Viaduct related in any way?

Dave, you can determine if its a Manhattan or a Viaduct by the crank escutcheon.  Viaducts had an escutcheon like the attached.  Also pg 253 of Knappans scrapbook shows what looks like this phone identified as a Manhattan.
