Western Electric Phone in Color

I'd asked a question to a seller on Ebay about a certain color of a phone, and he answered me with a bit of interesting information.  I'll post it here:

"FYI, the plant I work at today made the plastic used to mold this phone in the 1960?s. I worked as a color matcher in the mid 1970?s. I have color matched all of the standard Western Electric and other telephone manufactures colors during my time in Color Control. Something phone collectors may or may not know is the standard telephone colors were also used in many toy applications. One notable example is the Aurora Model Motoring slot cars sets from the early 1960?s. The car bodies are the standard telephone colors."
