Need help damaged bakelite radio cabinet!

I just received a very rare 75x18 hand painted oriental radio from ebay.  Bad news is that it arrived damaged!  I am devastated as It has taken me 2 years to find one.  It can be repaired with glue and the majority of the cracks will be covered by the brass frame.  The question I have is what kind glue should I use?  Super glue will dry too fast and I need to set it just right...
