Would a 1212 SCFatbboy have same REN as a SC 1222

Would a SC 1212 and a SC 1222 or SC 1223 have the same ringer equivalence?

I have a document with the REN # for the SC 1222 and 1223; Since both sets share the same circuitry and ringer I am guessing they'd be the same REN.

Are you having a ringing problem? What company or organization calculated the ren and what did they list it as?

The ringer used in the 1222 an SC 1223 are of the same general construction but they are not "the same" as the ringer used in the 1212 telephone set. A quick glance will show the ringers and condensers have different values.

Once more, what document are you referring to and what ren value was assigned?

Dear G-Man:

The information came from a .pdf document that I believe Ralph Meyer had posted at one point and time that I used to have a copy of, but cannot find it now that had a list of the REN values for some antique sets, including the SC1222, and the AE 40 and WE302.

The values were approximations as best I remember.

I've never seen a REN value for the SC 1212 listed, that is why I asked. I try to keep a record of them as I learn them as well.
