WAAAY OFF TOPIC....Can you Indentify this Fur Coat

Jan and I picked this up at a yard sale. The fur and lining are in amazing condition. Label states Chandler & CO Boston, I have googled them and came up with a 1907 advertisement book from them. It came with a very old Kakas Furs of Boston Hanger. Anyone with a bit of knowledge on this fur?....many thanks....Doug

Hi Doug,

We also had a mink stole from my mother-in-law after she passed away.   We don't know much about furs,  so we asked at local clothing consignment shop if they could help us.  Because they see so many furs like this come up on the secondary market,  they were able to identify the fur and approximate price it may bring.  Not much of a market lately....  we ended up donating it for a good tax write-off.

Also a local community theater might want it for costumes.  They can provide a tax receipt.
