There is an antique store nearby that has that exact same Western Electric subset with a dialless Monophone with a Western Electric E1 handset. Odd combination.

A lot of the mish-mash phones were created by antique sellers in the 1970's. on the upside sometimes they used really old (valuable) parts to complete a phone.
