I found this slightly pathetic thing at the flea market this morning.  It is a WE G1 mount with a #6 dial and plastic G3 handset screwed into the soft plastic cover of a 684-C subset.  There are four holes drilled through the top of the subset cover, which is dated 1956.  The cover is in otherwise fairly good condition.  The rest of the subset is from 1937.  I just learned that a 684-C does not include a ringer nor a ringer capacitor.  I don't know what I am going to do with this stuff, but I couldn't leave it at the flea market for the price.

How much did you paid for this telephone Larry

Nice find, Larry!

I just love the little rascals! The G mounts are among my favorites.

Best regards!

I paid $25.  The G1 mount has a 1941 date inside it, and the #6 dial is dated 4-55.  The handset parts and cord have dates in the 1960s to 1972.

Is anyone interested in any of these parts?  If so, send me a message.

Thank You

Larry
