What kind of phone is this and a little about it, who made it etc.

The parts are mostly or all Automatic Electric.  I don't know what T. R. & S. was, but I used to live about 10 blocks west of that address on Lunt Ave. in Chicago (not quite that long ago though).

There is another one but it's an older wood telephone on eBay right now. Additional info in the product description. Similar schematic dated 7-49 in lower right corner. A Dan Mac product.

TR&S like Suttle sold wood phones that had brand new cases and old parts. I think Dan Mac was the owner (MacKensie or something like that). The TR&S  name and WE 302-like emblem is seen on a lot of 3-slot payphones on the instruction card.
