Intersting Japanese Phone I bought

I just won this interesting phone on eBay. It says Archer on it, so it was imported from Japan by RadioShack, perhaps it is NEC? The dial looks AE, but it is hard to tell. It was only $10, so I bought it because I haven't seen one of them before. Is that a G handset on it? It looks like it.

Definitely similar to the G handset, but doesn't look to me to be an exact match.  You're right, the dial looks like an AE, but all we can see from the picture is the number bezel.  You won't know for sure until you take it apart.  Maybe NEC did some private labeling for Radio Shack.

Congratulations on the purchase.  I think it is great to have a variety of different phones, especially if you want to see the different ways different manufacturers put them together and made them work.
