Did COT ever install mini-networks in 202s? I was surprised to find that this one is hotwired, but I don't know if it was subsequently changed.

We almost always used some kind of subset.Sometimes the AE network out of a Styleline if they insisted. That pictured set has our dial and paint but we almost always used an E1 or in earlier years an AE type 38 if the customer wanted more brass. Some of the earlier sets were wired in series but we had fewer call backs if a network or subset was used

Thanks for the info. This one also has a high-voltage buzzer.

Those buzzers were junk. Most would not work unless the neon bulb or thermistor? were replaced with a 1uf or so capacator

Had to go behind another tech who installed one of these buzzers as a line ringer inside a (1A2) set. The line he wanted to ring happened to be on a SLC. It would trip ring every time it "rang." (He told the customer that there wasn't enough ring voltage, but that wasn't true.)
